Snapdeal offering cash on old mobiles, tablets

Users will get cash for selling their old devices, which otherwise are lying around the house.

To push mobile phone recycling in India, Snapdeal has come up with a unique and rewarding proposition for users in India called ReGlobe. With ReGlobe, Snapdeal is offering cash back to customers for devices they no longer user and wish them to be recycled. The service presently accepts old mobile phones, tablets and laptops to begin with but has announced to add more categories in coming times.

Users can either select their device from the list of devices, or can fill in the details of their old gadget and submit it with Snapdeal. Following that Snapdeal would arrange for the free pickup of the gadget, which will then be taken back to the technicians and based on its condition the users will be awarded cash back. If there is any discrepancy found in the submission by the users and the device delivered a new updated quote is offered to them for cash back.
Currently, the pickup facility is available in Delhi, Gurgaon, Faridabad, Noida, Ghaziabad, Mumbai, Bangalore, Secunderabad and Hyderabad. But more cities are going to be added to the list every month.
Commenting on the launch, Tony Navin, vice president - business development, Snapdeal said, "ReGlobe is an exciting initiative for us where we provide customers the opportunity to sell their old gadgets without any hassles. The process is simple and hassle-free”.
